How does a new life affect young people?
If you've ever eaten together with friends, you're probably familiar with the fact that you have to "add, subtract, multiply and divide" the bill for each person after each meal. Sometimes this is also easy to cause many funny situations when people eat less, people eat more, people give more, people pay less.
Understanding that, Facebook Messenger has just launched a feature called "Split Payments" to help you do this much faster and simpler, saving you from many dilemmas.
This functionality (which is still in beta testing) can automatically split costs between two or more people.
And of course, Split Payments is also connected to Facebook Payments, so you'll also need to register your card information the first time you choose to use the feature.
Once all your friends are in a chat group on Facebook Messenger, simply tap on the name of the group, then tap on the “Split Payments” section. Next, you can choose how much to split the cost, or if you're excluding someone (for example, someone's birthday, it's a bit weird to have them pay for it).
There's also an option where you can enter the amount manually if people want "whatever you eat".
For now, the feature is available to iOS and Android phone users in the US, and will be available in more countries in the near future.
